Satvi is a software company in Atlanta. We build Dia, a self-hosted data platform enterprises use to ask questions of their data and get answers they can check.
Who we are
Satvi is a software company in Atlanta. We build Dia. Our founder spent twenty years building governed data platforms inside large enterprises and watched every generation of self-service BI promise that the business could ask its own questions. Dia is the first time the answer can be trusted, because the AI is kept to the one job it is good at and the data team stays in control of everything else.
What we believe
AI is at its best when it's working out what someone means, and at its worst when it's left to make decisions nobody can check. So in Dia the AI's job is deliberately narrow: it reads the question. Deciding which tables to join, which records to touch, or whether an action goes ahead is left to code that can be tested, or to a person.
How we work
AI writes the code. A person approves every change.
AI coding agents write most of our code. What makes that safe is the process around it. Every change starts as a plan a person approves, and every step is recorded with its tests and its pull request. Four systems we built because nothing off the shelf could track, test, train or operate what AI agents produce: Loopcraft keeps the record, AATA writes and runs the tests, HawkDeck runs our servers and will not let an AI approve its own action, and ForgeLab is where we train and test small models. They run our company every day.

A real product, shipped, and a defensible idea.
Dia is live, self-hosted, and built for the buyers with the hardest requirements: finance, operations and IT teams running Oracle, SQL Server and Microsoft stacks. The same architecture that makes it safe makes it the natural home for small, domain-tuned models that know an ERP by heart, which our lab has already shown can outscore a frontier model. We are a small team shipping at an unusual pace because AI agents write most of our code under a process we built and a person approves every change.
